COSTA RICA WILDLIFE & ADVENTURE CONSERVATION YOGA RETREAT
In September 2027 we're heading to the Osa Peninsula — a corner of Costa Rica that is hailed as one of the most biologically intense places on Earth — to spend a week living inside this extraordinary ecosystem. We'll practice yoga each morning as the rainforest wakes up around us, spend our days hiking ancient jungle trails, snorkelling in warm Pacific waters, watching humpback whales from the beach, and looking for whatever the Osa decides to show us.
This retreat is an active conservation participation retreat. We'll be spending a full day working alongside Osa Conservation: one of the most impactful conservation organisations in Latin America — on sea turtle hatchling releases and camera trap monitoring. Every booking directly funds their work protecting this wild and irreplaceable corner of the world.
DATES: 20 - 25 September 2027
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll wake up to the sound of macaws and monkeys in the heart of the Costa Rican jungle each day. From our beautiful venue overlooking the pacific ocean we will practice yoga at dawn and explore the jungle and ocean around us on foot, by 4WD and boat.
THE CONSERVATION FOCUS
Proceeds from this retreat are donated to Osa Conservation who are doing vital work on the ground every day to protect and preserve one of our planet’s most important ecological wilderness areas. During our retreat we’ve been invited to spend a day at their campus and assist their team with fieldwork.
Our accomodation.
Welcome to El Remanso. Our home for the week is a wildlife lodge sitting at the edge of the Osa Peninsula's last frontier, nestled between Corcovado National Park and the Pacific Ocean. Sixteen sustainable villas, bungalows and rooms are spread across the rainforest property, each one 100% solar-powered and designed so that the jungle is never more than a few steps from your door. You'll fall asleep to the sound of the forest and wake to scarlet macaws in the canopy overhead.
Accommodation options range from classic bungalows with private porches and open-air showers beneath the stars, to superior rooms with west-facing terraces commanding the evening sky, to deluxe villas with private plunge pools and uninterrupted views across the rainforest to the Pacific. Every room overlooks either dense jungle, wildlife corridors, or the ocean — and all are built to leave the wilderness around them as undisturbed as possible.
Three freshly prepared meals are served daily, with a naturalist-led talk or guided experience included each day. This is not a resort that happens to be near the rainforest. It is a luxury eco lodge that is entirely a part of it.
Our schedule.
We like to keep our itinerary really flexible, to allow for varying energy levels, weather, personal preferences and special sightings. On our 2027 Costa Rica yoga retreat we'll have organized, guided tours each morning (which you are free to join or skip, or do your own thing entirely) and afternoons are yours to do with what you wish.
